Filmmaker/screenwriter/novelist Lisa Gold has written award-winning screenplays and eight award-winning short films, which she also directed and/or produced. Lisa has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from UCLA.
As a Fellow in the American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women, Lisa’s AFI short film played in 39 festivals. Her most recent short played in 56 festivals. In preparation for shooting her first feature, Lisa continued her film education, obtaining an A.A. degree from Los Angeles City College in 2023.
A lover of improv comedy, Lisa is a graduate of the Second City Conservatory.
